The book ‘Beyond Translation’ focuses on the visual interpretation of terms of the Italian language that are defined as ‘untranslatable’.
Two chapters are also dedicated respectively to the explanation of some untranslatable foreign words and to the explanation of a selection of unique Italian idioms. One of them will also be interpreted visually by means of an external collaboration.
The aim is to give these words a visual interpretation in order to enhance the Italian language and to bring different cultures closer together by going ‘beyond translation’.
