100% Memory Flakes - Functional Crisis of Digital MemoryXi'an Academy of Fine Arts

The work mainly starts from digital memory, where electronic memory seals memories and turns them into “permanent” memories, taking away the nature of natural forgetting itself, which is convenient but inevitably leads to crises. No memory lasts forever with the passage of time. The memory fragments we recall through electronic memory may not even match the current one. By endowing it with dynamic digital narrative under this theme, viewers can experience a strong sense of the distortion of digital memory, and thus cherish and enjoy the real memory of the present more. In non essential stages, they actively choose natural memory and restore the “initiative” of forgetting. In the work, after making digital models of concepts, suitable paper and printing forms are selected as part of the presentation, including the production of a series of information charts, the production of promotional brochures Printing of large-scale information charts and posters.
