Universal Music: 'UMUSIC AUTUMN' Event IdentityUniversity of Greenwich

Tasked with developing an identity that could seamlessly exist across both digital and physical media whilst resonating with Universal Music UK’s entire staff—from record label teams to IT and finance—the design focused on reflections being the central visual element of the event’s re-brand. It ensures that employees (whom the event is intended for) are prominently featured and always at the focal point of all visuals. Employees become met with their own reflection by engaging with any promotional material, underscoring the event’s emphasis on them.

The UMUSIC AUTUMN mirrorball is equally as essential to the event’s branding. It symbolises the employees of Universal Music UK, with each distinct mirror representing an individual company member. Inspired by this is the event’s bespoke typeface, developed to infuse personality and character into minimalistic visuals and complement the reflective aspects of the identity.
