Peter Vos VogeldagboekUitgeverij Müller

For eight months Peter Vos (1935–2010) lived in a cottage in the woods in Veluwe. Away from the town, away from the madding crowd he lived amongst the birds. They gave structure to his days, to his life. During that period he filled 12 sketchbooks and a diary with everything that he saw and heard.
In Peter Vos ‘Vogeldagboek’ we experience a selection of these booklets as facsimile, with commentary in the margin. The central bird diary has been reproduced to fill the page, the text has been transcribed.
Previously unpublished, we now witness through these delicate and subtle drawings a deeply felt love and great artistry.
