We design new packaging for Kankel Cacao and its Bean to Bar line, focusing on the primal sensations of each cacao origin. The design reflects each country’s raw intensity and purity, inviting exploration of diverse flavors.
A strip separates the emotional from the rational, showcasing the mastery of Cacao Chef Juan Ángel Rodrigálvarez. The goal is to enhance the consumer experience by incorporating cultural imagery and creating a standout product range for mass-market shelves.
Our proposal connects origin, process, and consumer through a visual metaphor, emphasizing authenticity.
Each country is assigned a unique color to differentiate varieties and aid consumer memory for repeat purchases. The graphic design splits the packaging into an emotional space representing each country’s nature and a rational space explaining the process.
We use natural-inspired, raw materials, highlighting the beauty of simplicity and enhancing the consumer’s sensory experience.
