In a not-too-distant future, the entire world is immutable. Human beings are solitary, silent, and disconnected from reality. They act only by barely touching each other, never managing to bring anything into each other’s lives.
The only ones capable of change are the Neuromancers. They know that their body is just a limit to overcome, and their heads can become whatever they want thanks to plant implants.
These implants allow them to restore connection, enhance perceptions, and recover their relationship with the outside world. Roots, shrubs, berries, leaves, flowers, and various plant elements reconstruct parts of their heads, becoming necks, ears, hair, skin, and nervous systems.
Like true shamans, the Neuromancers possess superhuman physical and mental abilities.
