An anthology through the artistic life of Franco Battiato ranging among his many interests. The result is an entirely original publication and superb production; not only a holder for music CDs and DVDs but also a selection of texts and images to accompany the journey. Here, the Designer and the Artist worked closely together to summarise and present a life’s work: the new sound processing of songs in the old repertoire and the inclusion of some previously unreleased material, the author’s imagination coming powerfully to create a contemporary iconography. The fluorescent colour case from which the black and white photos on the spine emerge inside hides an explosion of colour and content.
