Meemo - Make it clearPolitecnico di Milano

“Meemo – make it clear” is a party board game ideated and developed as a group project thesis for BSc Degree in Communication Design at Politecnico di Milano.
Investigating the topic of design for the welfare in the field of interpersonal relationships among teenagers, Meemo has the ultimate goal of making players learn a wide vocabulary of emotion words while having fun through activities such as drawing, narrating and miming. The game is played in groups and is both competitive and cooperative.
From a technical point of view, the game has the following features: a matte cardboard box with spot-on gloss finish, a matte quad-folded board, three sets of card decks contained in three cardboard boxes, the rules booklet and a small book reporting definitions.
The aesthetic of the project is mysterious, inspired by tarots design: bold colours standing out from the dark background, illustrations that pay attention to inclusion by portraying an agender figure and peculiar typography.
