Competing Projects 2025

Cosa puoi direPolitecnico di Milano

A provocative journey through the complex dynamics of cancel culture and censorship, two phenomena that are redefining the boundaries of contemporary freedom of expression. This project was created with the aim of producing a work that not only informs but also challenges the reader to deeply reflect on issues that touch our daily lives and how we interact with the world. Developed for the “Fundamentals of Design” course taught by Professor Anna Fosca Steiner and Professor Paolo Accanti, the book was conceived to explore the roots of cancel culture, drawing a direct connection to the concept of censorship, before analyzing contemporary cases and listening to the voices of figures such as Ernesto Galli della Loggia, Silvia Semenzin, and Davide Piacenza.
By offering thought-provoking insights and collected data, the reader is encouraged to confront various perspectives and form their own opinion on a current and controversial topic.
