heute morgen einsam // today tomorrow lonely – is a photographic investigation of loneliness. In a joint process between the protagonists and the photographer, a translation was created for the abstract feeling of loneliness in today’s society. The photo book makes the individual experiences of loneliness visually tangible and provides an insight into the private spaces of those portrayed through a mixture of portraits, detailed and interior shots as well as interviews.

Between documentation and staging, the work shows a sensitive portrait of a society that should have more courage for open exchange. The 12 people portrayed symbolize this.
