Bohemian Icons is a unique series of illustrated postcards paying tribute to significant figures in Czech history. The project aims to introduce these individuals to a new generation, who through their works and actions have influenced not only the Czech Republic but the world. The interpretations of personalities such as Karel Čapek, Franz Kafka, Jan Amos Comenius, Josef Gočár, and Eliška Junková offer not only an aesthetic experience but also a stimulus for reflection on their legacy. Each postcard is complemented by symbolism that references a important work or event from their lives.
The Bohemian Icons series will be continuously expanded, creating an ever-growing gallery of portraits of individuals who have shaped Czech culture and society. The project is intended for all those interested in history, art, and Czech identity.
