Ciclo XXVIII Compasso D’OroPaffi
Graphic design of the XXVIII Compasso d’Oro Award cycle, consisting of the three catalogues ADI Design Index 2022, ADI Design Index 2023 and XXVIII Compasso d’Oro.
We imagined the visual identity of the XXVIII Cycle as a ‘Design Cosmos’: each project selected in the ADI Design Index is represented as a dot, in a circular infographic that arranges it according to category and delegation of origin. The Design Cosmos thus becomes a visual and functional index of the contents of the catalogues, a radar of excellence, an evocative synthesis and photograph of the universe of Italian design. The covers, respectively on Sirio Color Black, Pietra and Perla, are printed in delicate tone-on-tone, with mixed glossy and matt silkscreens that complement the light porosity of the underlying paper. In the last volume, the award logo, in gold foil, lends prestige to the publication and an iridescent effect to the volume.
