Competing Projects 2022
Venice Gardens Foundation was founded with the aim of restoring and conserving parks, gardens, and sites of historical and cultural interest. The Foundation promotes, develops and carries out projects which are aimed at protecting the city’s botanical and cultural heritage. Upon these values Venice Gardens Foundation promoted and carried out the restoration of the Royal Gardens in the city of Venice between 2014 and 2019.
Since January 2020 the Foundation has been working on the project for the restoration and conservation of the Convent Garden attached to the Palladian Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, known as the Redentore.
The limited edition editorial project, hand-bound by Tipoteca, was created with the aim of promoting the ongoing activities of the Foundation. In addition to texts and information about the architectural and botanical restoration project, inside the booklet are presented photographs by Guido Guidi and Francesco Neri.
