Terre di CletaNumeroquattro
The relationship between Greece and Calabria, told through the label of a 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil, celebrates this historical and cultural connection. Legend has it that Penthesilea, queen of the Amazons, died at Troy in the war against Achilles. Her nurse, Cleta, learning of the event, set sail for Asia Minor to recover her body, but, caught in a terrible storm, she was shipwrecked on the shores of Calabria where she decided to build a city to which she gave her name. This is where Tenute Quattrò’s olive groves stand, and its views become the subject of the label: the golden sun shining at dawn, the blue sea and its waves, the beaches with their sand dunes and the land with its green hills. These elements, drawn in simple geometric shapes, make the label three-dimensional thanks to an interplay of overlapping papers, bas-reliefs and hot prints.
