House of Common Affairs (HOCA) is an annual publication about artistic journalism that questions the role of the arts in relation to current affairs. This second issue focused on architecture’s relationship with what’s happening in the world right now.

The economical design needed to push the boundaries of print production and have an understandable, yet thought-provoking layout that shows the interconnected nature of ideas. It also had to retain the same format while accommodating more and bigger imagery as well as double the content compared to issue one.

The result is a publications that plays around with the structural possibilities of paper.
