Quinta da Prelada is a winery from Douro Valley, Portugal with a wide range of wines.

This year they decided to launch 2 new wine references from 2 different grape varieties – Alvarinho and Sauvignon Blanc. Alvarinho is a typical grape variety from North Portugal and Sauvignon Blanc is a worldwide well known grape variety.
For this project, we decided to use the varieties names as the main expression on the label but in order to create a visual impact, we used varnish instead of ink (with 5% tint of black) in some letters. Looking at the bottle we tend to think there’s and error and we look our brain stats completing the words…
