Cose mirabili e dolcissimeMade in Italy Lab
This packaging pays homage to the Fontana Maggiore of Perugia, built in 1276. A masterpiece by Nicola and Giovanni Pisano, with its three circular basins, the fountain tells the story of mankind. On the upper basin, the inscription reads: “… if you are attentive, you can see marvelous things!” It celebrated the aqueduct that brought water to the highest point of the city.
The packaging features the silhouette of the fountain and the name “cose MIRABILI e dolcissime,” with “MIRABILI” embossed in gold. The chocolate is decorated with a relief of the fountain. A medieval design includes a card with a tile from the lower basin, removable to start a collection.
The packaging, made of Fedrigoni cardboard with four-color printing and gold embossed details, promotes the knowledge of the Fontana Maggiore, linking the historical art of Perugia to its contemporary identity.
