I Cried A SmileKarlsruhe University of Arts and Design

For the award I submit the reader for my diploma perfomance „I Cried A Smile“. The project was about a mysterious story of a two headed person with two minds that my father told me as a child. In the performance I talked about questions about the mind, neuroscience, memories, a fly and a clay head I found in a forest one day. The reader to this performance holds informations about the talk on the back but has scattered associative writing on the insides. I decided to laser cut a drawing through the folded paper, to have a mirrored drawing on the inside of the reader that resembles mirrored, face / or brain like drawings that also appeared through the performance.
