Les Fourmis courent en deux sens — Ants walk two waysIn the shade of a tree
Ants walk two ways is a collective publication resulting from a research project led by two art educators, Sophie Orlando and Katrin Ströbel, that navigates the thinking of contexts (labour economy, networks, publics, modes of production) and feminist, queer and postcolonial thinking. The publication features interviews, textual and visual contributions organised in a non-linear narrative. As a gesture to revisit the artworks produced in the publication, the magenta channel of this publication has been replaced by fluorescent pink. All artworks are therefore reproduced in a unique and vibrant way. Pink ants also run throughout the book, and can be read as a metaphor for the collective and for doing things together.
