This publication on art in architecture in the GEWOBA quarters was developed by students of the University of the Arts Bremen (HfK Bremen) under the direction of Professor Andrea Rauschenbusch and Gregor Schreiter. Over two semesters, the students developed concepts in which they positioned themselves as formative translators and actively and subjectively contributed to sharpening and updating the perspective on art in architecture.

The publication is divided into four chapters, which can be read as contrasting aspects of the perception of art in public spaces. It extracts art from its everyday context, provides orientation on existing works, and offers space for new artistic positions to be realized in the areas of the largest landlord in the state of Bremen.
