VETERUM VITIUMGraficas Alarcon
The label “Veterum Vitium” by Coviñas simulates and highlights the clay vessel, a container for the fermentation and storage of wine. To create the visual and tactile effect of this vessel, we used two varnishes with a sandy texture. One for the background of the label, providing texture relief, and another on the vessel itself to achieve a realistic material effect. All of this is printed in CMYK. For the main texts, black stamping was used for “Tinajas,” a glossy screen varnish for “Vitium,” and a matte gold with a flat top for “Veterum.” This design is printed on Sorolla Ultra Ws, which provides a more realistic texture in its composition.
