Juan de Luz is a Malbec wine that fills us with pride. It was born in honor of Juan González, a simple carpenter but with incredible strength and spirit of improvement.
Santiago Clement, the founder of Vinos de Luz, met Juan on a street corner fighting to survive, collecting cardboard with his bike-car. Juan, despite having lost a leg in an accident, and with it his livelihood, had been a carpenter.
Santiago saw in Juan the spark of inspiration for his project. Together they embarked on a campaign to sell boxes of wine to set up a carpentry workshop that allowed Juan to recover his old job and his life.
Thus was born the purpose of Juan de Luz wine, with a profound social and human impact that has grown over time.
