When I first went to visit the vineyard at Finca El Raposo, one of the wine cellar partners, José, explained, in great detail, the peculiarity of the terroir: the reddish clay soil high in iodine; the unique microclimate which allows the vines to wake up covered with dew drops; the vineyard planted on a trellis without irrigation…
All these quirks create the character and personality of the wine; therefore the label must be a reflection of them.
Through our senses, we delve into the complexity of a terroir, a vineyard, a wine.
On tasting its nuances, we can imagine the diversity within this rich and vibrant whole.
