Tecniche Bonsai 1/2Edizioni Volonterio

John Yoshio Naka, one of the greatest contemporary Bonsai Masters, was a driving force in promoting the appreciation of Bonsai and practicing this art in the West since the 1950s. The two volumes that the Japanese-American Master dedicated to Bonsai techniques are rightly considered the “Bible” of Bonsai and are the result of an experience developed through close contact with nature.
The design of the reissue of the book graphically revisits the style of the first Italian edition, featuring a minimalist graphic typical of that period. It is a blend of craftsmanship and innovation, enhanced by the printing technologies used. The embossing on the cover was done manually by a artisanal printing house in Rome using 19th-century machines, combined with innovative digital printing techniques. All of this could not be better represented than with Tintoretto Ceylon Wasabi paper, known for its texture and warmth.
