A journey through poetry, painting, literature, art history, and cinema. Several authors have been invited to share their perspectives on the work of Charles Belle and on contemporary creation in general. This remarkable diversity of expressions, viewpoints, and literary forms creates a sense of wonder, a feeling of freedom, and enriches the approach to Charles Belle’s work. A considerable number of images of the artist’s works are reproduced, many of which are unpublished.
The chosen binding and the quality of the paper allow for an exhilarating stroll throughout the book between the images and the texts. As with their previous publication, Éditions Sources worked with L’Imprimeur Simon (France), paying attention to every detail during printing.
