Spaesatidotfog
“Spaesati” is the name of a line of handcrafted notebooks made using various types of paper, some of which are reused (books destined for recycling, old postcards, prints of various kinds, magazines, etc.) in an upcycling process applied to bookbinding.
The notebooks “speak” through the elements that compose them, evoking emotions and reigniting memories: the words from the books are deconstructed and reassembled into a new micro-story that inhabits the landscapes of the postcards, the illustrations from old art books, and the colors and textures of the papers. The different layers intertwine with the help of layering and die-cut patterns, and the assembly of the various parts creates unusual and poetic compositions, each one unique.
In April 2024, the Spaesati notebooks were featured in a workshop held at Paperbar, the studio Dotfog’s workshop, during the latest Paperweek Comieco.
