“Ilúzie” is a limited-edition photography book by Jan Dobrik that offers a behind-the-scenes look at actors and actresses through high-contrast images. Designed by Martin Gross from Monokel Studio, the book aims to enhance the visual and tactile experience of these intimate photographs.
To achieve this, we carefully selected Fedrigoni papers that complement the aesthetic of the work. The cover is made with Arena Rough Natural 300 gsm, chosen for its textured feel that adds depth and authenticity. The title “Ilúzie” is embossed, giving it a nice, textured feel that really makes the name stand out. For the interior, we used two types of paper: 40 pages on Sirio Color Pietra 140 gsm, whose subtle grey tone enriches the monochrome images, and 76 pages on Symbol Tatami White 135 gsm, known for its smooth surface that highlights the contrast in the photos.
