The concept for this event is playfulness, drawing inspiration from the personalities of the main characters.
The envelope represents the first stage: an origami support that, when opened, has 1:1 proportions on which one can read the ironic storytelling with details and dates of the couple’s history. When closed, it contains the actual invitation printed on Materica Gesso paper.
During the event, guests were unexpectedly given a card with questions about the storytelling featured on the invitation envelope. Those who remembered the correct answers were rewarded with a dinner at the couple’s home. The last playful element was included in the gift box, where a card was placed inside with a photo of the couple as they prepared the invitations, applying the wax seal, with the caption: ‘No groom was mistreated during the preparations for this wedding.’
