La Performance a Bologna negli anni '70D+ di Vladimiro Bendandi
The editorial volume ‘La Performance a Bologna negli anni “70” (Performance in Bologna in the 1970s) is primarily a work of research and construction of an archive focusing on an artistic period that significantly influenced the contemporary art scene on a national and international level. It fundamentally constitutes the first and most complete historical-artistic analysis of the context of Performance, enriched by a remarkable iconographic contribution that has contributed to implement the collections of the MAMbo Museum in Bologna.
The result was the production of a publication celebrating the meticulous work of acquisition and research in the Museum’s historical archives, focusing on a crucial artistic period for the city. The start of this journey dates back to 2022, with the inauguration of a section entirely dedicated to performance within the MAMbo exhibition itinerary.
