This third book by architect David Bastos, published by Zeta, celebrates his 30-year career and all the Brazilian essence embedded in his work. To accommodate such a large volume of architectural projects to be presented (49 in total), the graphic design was created without formal chapters or titles, allowing the reader to enjoy the beautiful images in any order they wish. Each new project is identified only by a number. For the dust jacket, an illustration by artist Fefe Talavera bursts with colors featuring the orixás of the syncretism of African-based religions, surrounded by the rich Brazilian fauna. For the hardcover, the textured paper (Geltex Oxido) was essential to express the contrast to the colors and offer a pleasant tactile experience, with the architect’s name applied in low relief.
