GRAPHICTALKS. The Book 2012>2023Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze

“GRAPHICTALKS. The Book 2012>2023” is a publishing project that collects audio and video materials from the series of meetings curated by Paolo Parisi, exploring the boundary between project culture and contemporary visual arts, a key theme for the future of Fine Arts Academies. The layout interprets and presents the heterogeneity of the topics covered in an accessible way, making them understandable to readers. The volume features over 30 authors, including Leonardo Sonnoli, Maurizio Nannucci, Italo Lupi, Helga Marsala, Silvia Sfligiotti, Armin Linke, and Collletttivo. The project involved: reorganizing the archival material, selecting and summarizing the texts, reduced to about 6000 characters per author to facilitate reading, and a layout grid that narrates the chronological sequence of events, making reading and understanding easier. From the invisible structure of the grid, the lettering for the authors’ names and the book title was generated.
