The estate owned by the Librandi family is located in Calabria, in the ancient Magna Graecia area, where Mediterranean people and cultures interweaved to leaving vestiges and works witnessing their passage. The inspiration for these labels came from local Byzantine mosaics involving re-working of certain patterns to inspire highly original and distinctive marks, where typographic black and Byzantine gold are deposited on a soft white paper to achieve a marvellous graphic effect.
