THE DARK SIDE OF ROME is a communication project for the development of the visual and graphic identity for the exhibition 80s Dark Rome by photographer Dino Ignani at the Museum of Rome in Trastevere. The exhibition design was developed in collaboration with the curator, the artist, and the museum team. The entire work was then encapsulated in a volume that tells the story of the project, from the research phase to the materials created, up to the exhibition itself. The volume, with a contemporary layout mainly focused on typography, aims to provide a comprehensive view of the project, remaining consistent with its choices, and becoming an editorial product accessible to enthusiasts of the field. It allows for the exploration of an exhibition setup in all its aspects. The experience represented an opportunity to experiment with innovative techniques and tackle complex design challenges in a prestigious context such as the Museums of Rome.
