Doctoral thesis that addresses the question “What is the canon of design?”, or rather an analysis of design practice as a discourse — in the Foucauldian sense of the term.
According to the proposed theoretical framework, the thesis argues that the canon can no longer be seen as a circumscribable and easily surpassable object; at most, it functions as a product and result of this very discourse: an agent that preserves and perpetuates the unfolding of a practice — that of design — entirely traceable to a material product of humankind.

The volume is entirely printed on Fedrigoni Materica Gesso paper, 120 and 250 g/m² — Format 210 mm x 126 mm — Enclosed in a marbled paper box.
