Competing Projects 2025

Immagine Coordinata - Ristorante "Il Pagliaccio", RomaStudio Lord Z

The coordinated image project for the restaurant “Il Pagliaccio” in Rome, a two-Michelin-star establishment, has been developed by Studio Lord Z. Over the years, they have focused on rebranding the logo, creating a new visual communication language, and designing a custom graphic alphabet.
The entire creative project revolves around the design of geometric shapes that are balanced, abstract, elegant, and modular, with references to the visual arts. It expresses the refinement, research, and play of balances in both the kitchen and dining room of the restaurant.
Studio Lord Z also oversaw all printing processes for the communication materials, including various menus, special projects for events with other chefs, business cards, check holders, gift cards, etc., often featuring handcrafted setups and bindings with colored threads.
All materials were printed on Fedrigoni Digital certified papers using HP Digital Indigo technology, in CMYK and white, to create a tactile and luminous feel, also incorporating digital die-cutting.
