The photobook "Tradition in Images"OSA, z.s.
The photobook “Tradition in Images” captures the costumes and folk traditions of Bohemia, a geographical area that has been neglected in this respect. The aim of the project is to document this vanishing beauty, which is mainly preserved in museums, and is only brought to life by the activities of ethnographic associations.
The book contains 269 photographs and weighs 3 kg. The size of the book, 24×33 cm, has been deliberately chosen to allow the reader to study the fine art photographs in detail, while at the same time making the book easy to handle. The cover motif is highlighted by the use of tracing paper.
The book is under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic for its exceptional cultural contribution.
Dozens of videos depicting folk music, dances and traditions from different regions are also an integral part of the project. More information about the project at https://www.tradicevobrazech.cz/en/
