"Galleria Borghese" di Francesca Cappelletti, fotografie di Luciano Romanoartem srl
“The villa we visit today, which has witnessed all the family’s events and transitioned to a public museum at the beginning of the 20th century, has been the scene of many transformations. It is as if space has taken the place of time, as if we were inside an animated space capable of moving, speaking, lighting up, and filling with enchantments. In the rooms that today present us with almost all the most significant works of Bernini the sculptor, the masterpieces of Caravaggio, the great masters of the Renaissance, and two periods of art in Rome, such as the Baroque and Neoclassicism, we are always accompanied by the conversations of the past, by the dialogues between patrons and artists” [Francesca Cappelletti]
Thanks to a minimal layout, the magic of Luciano Romano’s photos, and the stochastic screen of a meticulously detailed print, the paper comes to life, page after page, among memorable icons and new enchantments.
