In the ROMA Project, the transformative power of time and its ability to generate new meanings become visible, evoked through fragmented and incomplete forms that create a fictional space of combinatorial nature. The trace of historical past is overlaid by the work of material erosion, transporting it to a space more connected to emotional memory than to cultural references. The coexistence of different time scales allows the rock to transform into wisps of smoke, the random shapes of water to play at completing the stone and imitating solid objects, in a formal dialogue that is both natural and paradoxical, connecting the visible with the evanescent.
