“Vorrei dirti” is a delicate illustrated book that, thanks to the poetic power of Jean-François Sénéchal’s words and the soft delicacy of Chiaki Okada’s illustrations, manages to tell children about the difficulty of parting from loved ones, while at the same time celebrating writing as the most powerful form of expression. The illustrations play with light and shadow, creating an enveloping luminosity, both indoors and outdoors where the sun’s rays play among the leaves. To best render these particular illustrations, the utmost care was taken in the choice of paper and printing.

- Interior: 40 pages + 4 endpapers, printed in 4 colors on Arena White Rough 170 gsm paper
