Minamihara - Auction 50 YearsArtice Paper
This package was developed for worldwide shipping of green coffee samples, aimed at a select audience of buyers and participants in the Farm’s 50th Anniversary Commemorative Auction.
The 14 samples were packed in individual pouches with numbered labels, including 7 Gold labels (a tribute to the matriarch, Mrs. Chiyoki Minamihara) and 7 Black labels (a tribute to the patriarch, Mr. Issao Minamihara).
Designed to store the coffee samples safely and in an orderly manner, like a safe protecting a rare diamond, the packaging combines paper, cardboard, and MDF.
For the graphic design, three printing techniques were used: Silk-screen, Hot Stamping and Digital Toner Based.
The main challenge was organizing the samples in a simple and compact way. The solution was to create individual niches for each sample, arranged in interspersed levels, allowing the packaging to be fully opened and closed with just a few moves.
