Thetra and Brunese are the latest products from Cantine Leuci, one of the most respected producers of kosher wines in our country. We designed the two labels from a concept based on their names, borrowed from two of the very few rivers in Salento. This choice evokes territoriality but also the importance of water in purification rites in the Jewish religion. For this project we have selected two papers, paired at the printing stage, with an extraordinary performance. They are Ispira Nero Mistero, smooth and exciting to the touch, and Cotone Nero Felt, rough, warm and textured. Their overlapping gives the design a decisive touch, suggesting the irregular texture of Salento geology. Luxoro’s hot-embossed gold foil, black M851-001 micro-embossed foil and embossing gave light, concreteness and preciousness to the signs that trace the course of the two rivers.
