novobanco - Photography Colection VISUALS™_Creative Thinkers

This catalogue raisonné is an expansion of the first catalogue of the novobanco Photography Collection published in 2008, which referenced the 444 works that made up the collection at the time. In this new edition, to share and promote the cultural heritage under its stewardship, novobanco has included all 1,084 works by 304 artists of 38 nationalities that are now part of the collection, one of the most important corporate collections internationally.
The novobanco Photography Collection includes works by contemporary artists who use photography as an artistic medium, including works by leading national and international artists, and bringing artists from different generations into dialogue.
The major theme of the Collection is the diversity of artistic expression, offering a panoramic view of the state-of-the-art in contemporary photographic art since 2000, with the mission of questioning existing realities and fostering a dialogue between cultures
