SommernachtsblauIn Friedrichs Garten
„Sommernachtsblau” (summer nights blue) is a calendar project with a series of stamp prints – crafted by hand entirely. Inspired by the plants in the World Heritage Site Park Sanssouci (near Berlin), almost each year since 2004 we are carving flower motifs from print blocks and print them manually as stamps with linoleum ink. Each print is unique. For this series we also worked with the stylistic medium of collage and transparent paper to create subtle overlays.
