Le pecorelle spiritoseWINE STYLIST
At Figlej, a small establishment located in Canavese, these spirits are produced at zero kilometers with the pomace of heroically cultivated grapes grown on terraces, and with oranges and plums that thrive in this microclimate. The main characters are the sheep of the winery that graze among the vineyards and help keep the area clean. They are named after local features: Insubrica (the Insubric line that passes through Canavese), Baltea (the Dora Baltea river that flows near the winery), Morenico (the morainic amphitheater they are part of), and Erratico (the erratic boulders of intrusive igneous rocks that emerge from the ground), because Erratico often climbs onto a boulder and refuses to come down. The wool inserted by hand into the label is produced from their fleece and dyed with vegetable colors.
