Atlas of Old Maps of the Present-Day Pardubice RegionEast Bohemian Museum in Pardubice

The book presents the administrative development of the territory of today’s Pardubice Region, illustrated through a collection of old and historical maps.
It also emphasizes that this region has long been a crossroads where goods and ideas were exchanged. Therefore, it delves into the development of local roads, highways, railways, and waterways, including the utopian project of connecting the Elbe with the Danube.
Additionally, the publication explores the evolution of the landscape, shaped by both noble and ecclesiastical estate owners.
The book also covers the most recent transformations of the region. Designed by the Prague-based studio Toman Design, it was printed on Arena Smooth paper by the Helbich printing house in Brno and published by the East Bohemian Museum in Pardubice.
