Meet Our International Jury

The Jury comprises a panel of international experts in the design, communication and production world. The Jury will then assess the projects received in each category based on criteria that highlights the originality of the graphic design, functionality, accuracy of execution and appropriate use of papers and self-adhesives manufactured by Fedrigoni.

Simon Esterson

He is a publication designer. His studio, Esterson Associates, has worked on projects for The Guardian newspaper in London, the Neue Zürcher Zeitung in Zurich and Publico in Lisbon.

He was creative director of Italian architecture title Domus. He is Art Director of the international graphic design magazine Eye and since 2014 he has been the Art Director of Pulp magazine. Simon is a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale and a Royal Designer for Industry.

Silvana Amato

Silvana Amato has been working in the field of editorial graphics for over thirty years developing in particular projects in the cultural field.

Among her clients there are, just to name a few, the Laterza Publishers, the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the Palazzo delle Esposizioni of Rome, the Tipoteca Italiana and Nuova Consonanza. Her works are preserved in numerous international public collections.
She has taught at various universities including the Sapienza University of Rome, the Academy of Fine Arts in Frosinone, the Naba in Rome and the Iuav in Venice.

She currently teaches at the Isia of Urbino where, as a member of the Academic Council, she works alongside teaching and promotes the culture of the project. She curated the exhibition Segni esemplari for the Museo Bodoniano of Parma and she is one of the co-editors of the Scritture series. Silvana is a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale.

Paul Boudens

Graphic designer Paul Boudens (1965) has become synonymous with Belgian fashion. His style has been a propelling force in the visual language of art, theatre and dance for decades, in Europe and beyond. Paul’s work has an unparalleled energy, with a distinct touch that mesmerises Gen-Z fans and creative industry veterans alike. Aside from his leading graphic design for Walter Van Beirendonck, the Fashion Department of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and MoMu, he’s also created universes for fashion designers Yohji Yamamoto; Dries Van Noten; Jurgi Persoons; Haider Ackermann; Olivier Theyskens; Rosas dance company and P.A.R.T.S. school; the Brussels Opera, Kaaitheater and more. He’s been co-founder of N°A Magazine which became A Magazine Curated By and has designed more than 50 books, collector’s items in the world’s best bookshops.

Marianne Givone

Graduated both in Contemporary Literature & Theatre (La Sorbonne Paris) and in Marketing and Communication for Fashion & Design (IFM: Institut Français de La Mode), Marianne Givone seeks beauty, depth, meaning and senses in all things.
No wonder Marianne joined the Artistic Luxury House Diptyque – 6 years ago – and participates in its thriving expansion. As Head of Content Factory, she is currently in charge of Brand Content: strategy, brand identity, artistic creation, communication and cross-cultural issues are the challenges she enjoys rising to, while spreading the soul of this French “Maison”, worldwide. She had formerly been working for the BETC Communication Agency in Paris dedicated to luxury patrimonial brands (Dior, Louis Vuitton, Guerlain, Cartier, Kenzo Parfums, etc.) and more broadly to beauty & lifestyle brands.

Gustavo Greco

Founder and creative director of GRECO, a Brazilian design company, Gustavo has been working in the design sector for 18 years and has a portfolio that includes identity creation, signage, packaging, and editorial projects.
Winner of numerous awards (Design Lion at the Cannes Film Festival, D&AD, Grand Prix at the Red Dot Design Award, iF Communication Award, …), judge of international awards and ambassador of the Red Dot Design Award (Germany) in Brazil.
He has participated in the last editions of the National Graphic Design Biennial (ADG Brazil) and stood out in 2015 and 2017. In 2019 Gustavo also served as curator of the 13th Brazilian Graphic Design Biennial.
Gustavo is professor in Brand Management at the IEC PUC Minas Institute and he also coordinates and leads the Graduate Program in Exponential Design at UniBH University.

Rozenn Mainguené

After graduating from École Boulle with a degree in Interior Architecture and Product Design, Rozenn began her career in 1993 at Sophia Design as Assistant Artistic Director before joining International Marketing at Lancôme, where she was in charge of the fragrance design studio. Since 1999, Rozenn has been an independent designer, providing mainly the world of beauty and luxury with design support for products, packaging, graphic design, and POS advertising. Her references include major luxury houses such as Dior, Prada, Valentino, Kenzo, and others.
From January 2020, Rozenn is Packaging Creation Director for Parfums Christian Dior.
She also tooks part in collaborations with artists to design exceptional projects and she always underlines the importance of transmission to train the next generations to do their best.

Kate Marlow

Kate has art directed design, identity and innovation projects for some of the world’s most revered brands including Campari, Fortnum & Mason and Hauser & Wirth.

Kate now works with a special focus on sustainable luxury with her Partner Tess on The Beautility Collective, an innovation programme which links together brand pioneers, leading edge thinkers and environmental revolutionaries who are committed to implementing change that is both beautiful and purposeful.

Here became a B Corp in 2022, and continues to work for better environmental and societal practice.

Harry Pearce

Harry Pearce is a graphic designer, artist and photographer.
Before joining Pentagram as a partner in 2006, he co-founded and co-ran Lippa Pearce Design for 16 years.
Pearce has worked around the world devising identities, installations, posters, packaging, books and talks for clients as diverse as Liberty, Thames & Hudson, Camden Art Centre, WITNESS, Fedrigoni, the Guggenheim, the Royal Academy of Arts, the V&A, Abu Dhabi cultural quarter, Berry Bros & Rudd, Phaidon Press, Pink Floyd, Saks Fifth Avenue, Lloyd’s of London, PEN International, Science Museum and the UN.
His work has been exhibited in New York, Paris, London, Toronto and Naples.
Since 1993 he has been a member of the advisory board for WITNESS, a human rights charity and he is also a committed member of Alliance Graphique Internationale.

Sebastián Yañez

Sebastián Yañez is a founding partner of YG Branding & Design Experts Agency. With over 20 years of experience, he has been involved in projects for clients from countries such as Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Italy, Spain, Georgia, and the UK. He has worked with renowned companies, including Grupo Concha y Toro, VSPT, Peñaflor, and Torres, as well as brands like Casillero del Diablo, Gato, Baron B (LVMH), Misiones de Rengo, among many others.
He is a key member of the founding team behind Moondesk, a design automation software for labels and packaging, which now serves clients like Ilolay, Agrosuper, Biogénesis Bagó, Trivento, Undurraga, and Bianchi.
Furthermore, he spearheaded the development of the Wine & Spirits Virtual Fair project, the industry’s first virtual fair launched in 2020 and successfully repeated in 2021.
