The Modern House Magazine, is a 132-page exploration into modern forms of living, design and architecture. Featuring originally commissioned photography, opinion pieces, long-form writing, interviews, Q&As and more. Essentially a design focused journal that showcases what it means to live in a thoughtful, considered way, both in and out of the home.
The idea is for the magazine series to evolve in terms of its content and contributors, but each subsequent design features a variation of the same foreshortened cover in a coloured stock (colour selected to contrast and compliment the previous issues) and a chronological numbering system (1-2-3 etc), loosely conceived to reference door numbers, that is foiled in black on both cover and spine.
