This is a book of absurd micro-comedies by the famous French humorist and creator of nonsense, Pierre-Henri Cami.
And like Cami, the Czech artist Jiří Slíva, who accompanied the book with his lithographs, likes to work with paradox and absurd humour.
The concept of the book corresponds to this – the cover is reminiscent of tweed fabric, a typical male attribute of the turn of the 19th-20th century, and the overall colour scheme suggests that this will be more of a “men’s” book.
