From February to May 2022, the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain will present a major exhibition dedicated to Mexican photographer Graciela Iturbide, exhibited for the first time in Paris in nearly forty years. Iconic series will be presented along recent photographs and a new series in color, created especially for this exhibition.
On this occasion, the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain will publish a catalog gathering all of the photographs presented in this exhibition, completed with an extensive interview of Graciela Iturbide by French essayist Fabienne Bradu, and a short story by Guatemalan author Eduardo Halfon.
